Maybe, I just need more time. Yess; time.

It's a Saturday morning, the weather's great. A perfect day to go somewhere and enjoy.
Ynna woke up early, as her routine, she always do the laundry by morning, and then find some time to go to the mall by afternoon.

"Ynna, are you planning on going to the mall this afternoon?" her brother asked.
"Yeah, i'm planning to. Why?" Ynna replied.
"Nothing, I'm just asking. Oh, before i forget, do you have any plans on going to cuerdas bar later on?" her brother added.
"I guess so. A few friends invited me to come." she answered.
"Oh, i see. Just take care and don't spend too much. ok?" her brother said.
"Yeah sure. Don't worry." Ynna ended the conversation.


Ynna is a 15 yr old, happy-go-lucky girl who loves making friends, meeting new people and hanging out with friends. She's currently in fourth year high school and even after a long day of work at school and home, she still finds time to relax and let herself enjoy. She never had a boyfriend before. Maybe because she treated everyone only as a friend.

So Ynna went to the mall, she can see couples everywhere she look. She's not really jealous, she's just wondering when is she going to find someone for her.

a few hours passed by, along with her friends, they went to cuerdas bar. A lot of bands played and they partied till dawn. Then there's this guy who caught her eyes. The guy's not so good-looking and that made her wonder why she keeps staring at him. Her friend noticed that Ynna seems to be interested to Mark (the guy she's staring at.) so, before going home, her friend introduced Mark to Ynna.

Mark is 20 year old guy. He's in band. Mark, just like Ynna, is also a happy-go-lucky guy. He has a great sense of humor, which interests Ynna the most. Since the day they met, they started seeing each other and hanging out at the mall during weekends. They became close friends, and soon they became lovers.

Mark courted Ynna for almost 2 months, then finally, Ynna said yes to Mark, on November 14. You can't compare anything to Ynna's happiness as of now. The first few weeks was great.

So Ynna thought that Mark is the guy for her. She gave all her love to him. she sacrificed a lot and tries to understand Mark all the time. But after their first monthsary, Ynna noticed that Mark is changing. It seems like Mark's showing up who he really is. He' started to go out with other girls even though he already has a girlfriend. Because of Ynna's love for Mark, she didn't do anything. Not even asking why he's doing that. She tries to get mad at him, but when he kissed her, or say sorry, it seems like nothing happened. Yes! She's been blinded by her own love.

Christmas is near. they're not yet talking to each other that much. The problem's within Mark, she started taking Ynna for granted because he knows that she's always there and will never leave him.

December 24, christmas eve. Still no message from Mark. So Ynna, sent him a message.

The message says:
"How are you? Your not sending me any text messages for almost two weeks. Is there any problem? Iloveyou. Merry Christmas. Hope your ok."

Mark replied, "I'm good. I'm just busy with the band and with other stuffs. Merry christmas too. Ily. :]"

So, Ynna is fine with that. At least he replied.
After that message, she haven't received anything again from Mark. New Year's eve came, she greet Mark but there's no reply. She just thought that maybe he's still busy.

January 12 came 2 days before their 2 monthsary, then Mark texted Ynna. She was excited to open his message, but felt sad after reading it.
The message says:

"I think we need to cool off. Try to settle things out."

"Why? Is there something wrong?" she answered.
"I don't know. That's why we're cooling off. To find what's wrong and then settle it." he answered back.
"When will you come back?" she asked.
"I don't know yet." he said.


Ynna don't know what to do. She doesn't want to cool off with Mark, but again, even though it hurts her. She just said yes. Because that's what he wants.

Next morning, Ynna was wondering how Mark is doing. she still care so much even though Mark's taking her for granted. She still keeps sending text message like "Goodmorning. Take care. Eat on time." and still even says "iloveyou" to him.

Days passed. Her friends keep telling her that she better find a new one. And that Mark is obviously fooling her. But no, she just said, "I'm happy with him. Even though it seems that he doesn't want me anymore, I still want to show that I love him. Finding a new one is not the answer."

Few more days passed, February 2 came. It was 8 in the evening. She recieved a text message from Mark. They talked and talked. Finally they're fine again. They talked about Mark plans on their monthsary. February 14 came, Mark didn't do what he promised Ynna, he didn't show up on their date. Ynna was so disappointed so she called up her friends, and had a drink with them.

As what Mark always do, sorry is the only thing he could say. Ynna, for the millionth time, forgave Mark. And they're back to normal again. They didn't see each other for a month. They celebrated their 4th monthsary on March 16, Ynna decided to come with MArk on one of their gigs. On their way, she borrowed his phone to check it up, and see if he's still flirting with other girls. And yes, he still does! Speechless. She just shut her mouth. And don't want to talk about it anymore.

Instead of having fun, disappointment is all she felt that night.
After arriving home, Mark texted her.

"Leave me alone. Break up with me." he said.
"Why?" she asked.
"Because I'm just causing you troubles and I'm just hurting you. I don't want it to be like that. You need to be happy also. There's something wrong with me. I'm a bad guy =[" Mark explain.
"I'm happy with you. I understand you. I know there's something wrong, that's why I'm here. I'm here to help you. You said you're going to change. right?" she answered back.
"Yeah, i know. But..." Mark added.
"Iloveyou and even though how bad you are, I'd still accept you." Ynna said.

"You know, i get annoyed at you sometimes." mark opened up.
"why?" asked Ynna.
"because even though i'm not paying attention to you, you're still there. aren't you getting tired?" he continued.
"why would i? iloveyou. that's why i don't get tired." she answered.


Ynna was really blinded by her love for Mark. It's not right to stay in that relationship anymore. But she keeps insisting that everything will be fine even it's not.

Wednesday morning, another morning same with the other. No message from him.
Ynna, invited him at a swimming party with her classmates and teachers.
Mark said yes, so they went together, and Ynna let her friends meet Mark, his boyfriend.
It was a great party she would never forget.
After parting apart, she immediately texted him, "Iloveyou Mark. Thanks for your time. I'm really really happy because I get the chance to be with you all night. Iloveyousomuch! Take care. :*"
She doesn't hear anything from Mark again since then Back to normal. She's been taking for granted again.

Who would have thought that that was the last time they'll be together? Sad to say, but it is.
March 30, that's the day. they finally broke up.

Ynna has finally had it.
She took up the courage and asked Mark:

"Hey! What do you want? Say it directly. We're always like this. I can't take it anymore." said Ynna.
"I dont know. You should move on without me." he answered.
"So? Are we breaking up now? Ynna asked hesitantly.
"Yeah. That's better." he replied.


She can't move. All she wanna do is cry until the pain is gone. All of her sacrifices where put to nothing. She gave her all, now nothing's left to her. It's like she completely lost her identity since that day. She's bothered of what she did, and wishes that she could turn back time and take back all the things she did and said before they broke up. But she can't. All that she can do is let time heal the scars of her heart. Moving on is the answer. But she doesn't know where to start.

"5 months has passed. I keep on waiting. But deep inside, I know that my feelings for him is draining. But there's this something I can't explain. Why is it that there are times that my love for him is coming back? After what he has done to me? Is it right for me to wait and still hope that he'll come back? Tell me, How can I possibly continue loving him, when all he does keeps on hurting me?

"Even I don't know the answer to my question. Maybe I just need more time. Yes time."
